This past Sunday and every Sunday this month, Noodle Face Co., a new Chinese eatery on Baldwin specializing in modern Beijing cuisine using quality ingredients, opened their doors on their day off to host Toronto Common!
Guests got to the try a selection of noodles and small foods in tasting sizes for a taste of Beijing in Toronto.
One of the things we love most about hosting Toronto Common events is giving people an opportunity to try things they may not think to try on their own.
We can read, we can research, we can look at photos but there’s really no substitution for just trying something new and we want to make it easy for people to do just that with smaller portions but more variety, great value, easy planning and a welcoming environment.
Noodle Face Co. prepares many traditional and modern Beijing style dishes often found on the streets of Beijing but not often seen in Toronto. They also take pride in selecting quality ingredients and making all their broths in-house without the use of MSG and preservatives. Many of the dishes they selected for the tasting were their personal favourites.
When asked “What didn’t you like about the event?” in our post event survey, one guest simply replied “not much” 🙂
Toronto Common would like to thank all our guests and Noodle Face Co. for hosting such a wonderful event and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Toronto Common partners with local businesses to host fun, social, unique micro-events around the city. Micro or mini events allow for more engaging social settings, more unique offerings, and an overall more manageable experience for attendees & hosts.
