Meatless Monday at Harvest Kitchen

This past Monday, March 3rd, Toronto Common hosted our first vegetarian event at Harvest Kitchen.

While Harvest Kitchen prides itself on having something for everyone, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and meat eaters, we thought it’ be great to showcase their vegetarian menu for a meatless Monday event for vegetarians and non-vegetarians choosing to opt for this popular one day without meat lifestyle choice.

A perfect location with 2 private upstairs dinning section, the meal started with a selection of their house lager, house wine on tap or juice elixir, made fresh daily and their in-house grilled Manoucher Barbaree flatbread with an Egyptian Dukkah dry dip, and Eggplant Caponata.

One of the things we love about Harvest Kitchen is not only their quality of food but also their conscious food choices. And it really came through in our meal as our host explained their offerings including partnering with local winery 13th Street to be the first to offer their wine on tap in an effort to reduce waste while still providing a great, local wine offering.
