With the busy event season just around the corner head chef, Alejandro Tejeda is testing a variety of new salsas and dippers as well as mixing in a few favourites for $12 tax & tip included!

Pipian (Roasted Pumpkin)
Pibil (Yucatan style Achiote sauce)
Plus 3 different types of chips/dippers:
Garlic Potato Chips
House Nacho Chips
Sushi-Cut Tamalitos (Sushi-Cut Corn Cake)
And a traditional Horchata drink, sweet rice milk with cinnamon to cool down the heat.
Cocina Lucero, La Mexicana’s sister restaurant offers a more refined Mexican experieince. Featured in Restuarant Makeover in 2008 with Chef Lynn Crawford, Cocina Lucero still has many of her recipes and techniques on the menu paired with restaurant owner Lucero’s authentic Mexican style.
All tickets must be purchased online before 11pm Saturday, October 18th, 2014. No tickets will be available at the door. Minimum attendance: 10 people Maximum attendance: 20 people Tickets must be presented (printed or electronically) to check-in. Each ticket is a unique one-time use code and cannot be shared.
This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.
