Ryoji Ramen & Izakaya is bringing back ramen tasting retuns with Toronto Common every Tuesday in January by popular demand!

Ryoji is offering a sampling of 4 ramens in tasting portions plus 4 starters, a dessert and a sake tasting for $24, tax and tip included!

Starters

Deep Fried Homemade Tofu

Deep fried house-made Okinawa tofu (atsuage) served with red onion, koregusu (chili vodka sauce), fresh ginger, and scallions.

Tontoro (Pork Jowl)

Grilled pork jowl with wasabi puree and pickled leek.

Takoyaki (Deep Fried Octopus Ball)

Fried mashed potato, ocotpus, bonito flakes, pickled ginger, tonkatsu sauce and mayo.

Fried Shrimp Mayo

Tiger shrimp tempura with house-made chili and squid ink mayo, and aonori seaweed.

Ramen

Tondou Tonkatsu Ramen

Rich and flavourful pork bone broth, topped with chashu, bean sprout, scallion, and kikurage mushroom.

Tondou Shio

Light and flvourful chicken and pork bone broth, topped with chashu, leek, konbu, fish cake, and yaki-nori.

Seasonal Special Ramen

Will be announced at the first event

Tondou Vegetable

Konbu and Shitake mushroom broth topped with thnkly sliced mixed vegetables and finished with garlic chips, black pepper and basil oil

Dessert

SataAndagi

Freshly prepared Okinawa doughnuts drizzled with chocolate sauce with ice cream.

Beverage

Choice of Sake Tasting or regular Non-Alcoholic beverage

 



Ryoji Ramen & Izakaya
, established in January 2013 in Toronto, but with multiple locations in Okinawa Japan, is the only Okinawan-style Izakaya in Toronto.

With Okinawa’s rich history and slightly different culture from mainland Japan, Ryoji offers traditional and inventive cuisines and ramens reflective of the unique culture of Okinawa.

Simple yet delicate flavours, fresh ingredients, creative cuisine, served in a bistro style.

Staying true to the Ryoji values of gratitude, passion, and awareness, Ryoji looks to evolve their menu with appreciation to their surroundings and to continue to evolve the art of Japanese cuisine.

All tickets must be purchased online before 11pm Monday, January 26th, 2014.

No tickets will be available at the door.

Minimum attendance: 4 people

Maximum attendance: 12 people

Guests should arrive 5 minutes prior to event to check-in.

Tickets must be presented (printed or electronically) to check-in.

Each ticket is a unique one-time use code and cannot be shared.

This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.
