Summer Cold Ramen Tasting at Ramen Raijin

Toronto Common is excited to present a special Cold Ramen Tasting event with Ramen Raijin!

Cold Ramen is refreshing summer treat, the noodles are served chilled with a variety of seasonal toppings to be enjoyed when the weather is hot.

Ramen Raijin has been introducing a new cold ramen every few weeks since May with 4 cold ramens in total!

For the month of August we will be hosting 3 Cold Ramen Tasting events every other Tuesday to take advantage of this seasonal speciality with a sampler of starters, a mini hojicha pudding for dessert & an 8 oz Sapporo for $28 tax & tip included.

Starters:

Kara-age – Japanese Fried Chicken
Gyoza – Thin skinned pan fried pork dumpling
Tako-Yaki – Deep fried octopus ball

Cold Ramens:

Cold Yuzu Shio Ramen – Japanese citrus flavoured ramen topped with chicken char-shu, pea shoots, sliced honeyed lemon, and 1/2 a seasoned soft boiled egg.

Cold Maze-Men – Special spinach noodle in chicken based sauce topped with shredded cucumber, naruto, seasoned beef, tenkasu, green onion, nori seaweed, white sesame, grated mountain yam, and a special mini poached quail egg with a side of wasabi.

Cold Ume Shiso Tsukemen – Cold ramen noodle with shiso oil served with a cold chicken & bonito based broth, chicken char-shu, thinly sliced Japanese leeks, pea shoots, iced lemon slice, and pickled plum with shiso.

Cold Soupless Tan Tan Ramen – Thick cold noodle with a mildly spicy sesame dressing topped with spicy ground pork, english cucumber, cabbage, tomato, red onion, walnuts, lime, and special mini poached quail egg.

Dessert:

Hojicha Pudding – Roasted green tea milk custard

Plus an 8 oz Sapporo!


Ramen Raijin arrived in Toronto in 2012. A casual ramen shop at Gerrard and Yonge, Ramen Raijin has over 12 ramens and a variety of sides and desserts as well as a new Japanese bento take away service.

Owned by the Zakkushi Group, Ramen Raijin continues the tradition of bringing fun, casual, and unique Japanese cuisine to Canada.


PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:

All tickets must be purchased online the night before the event by 11pm.

No tickets will be available at the door.

Maximum attendance: 12 people

Guests should arrive 5 minutes prior to event to check-in.

Tickets must be presented (printed or electronically) to check-in.

Each ticket is a unique one-time use code and cannot be shared, one ticket per guest.

This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.

Must be 19 years or older to attend.
