That’s Life Gourmet is celebrating summer with a series of tasting events that feature each of their product categories; sake, Spanish wines, and Champagne and Toronto Common is invited!
This second event will feature 6 Growers Champagnes from Hubert Paulet and Eric Rodez (all only available by private order) and a special Summer Harvest Table Dinner at Woodlot.
Grower Champagnes are sparkling wines made in the Champagne region that are produced by the same estate that grows the grapes. Rather than sourcing grapes from multiple vineyards, grower champagnes are an expression of the grower, the land, and the season.
Both of these producers also put heavy emphases on natural production going as far as using horse and plows instead of machines to work the soil and avoiding any pesticides to help maintain the health of the plants, and the land.
With a focus on artisanal, tastes of the region Champagnes, That’s Life thought Toronto’s Woodlot Restaurant would be a perfect host.
Simple, honest, and handmade foods crafted from the finest raw, local (and sometimes distant) ingredients, Woodlot will be hosting a special Summer Harvest dinner around their chefs table with a selection of dishes using quality ingredients to showcase the season paired with the Grower Champagnes available for Toronto Common guests only at $110 tax and tip included.

Woodlot offers simple, honest, handmade foods crafted from the finest raw, local (and sometimes distant) ingredients.
Their kitchen revolves around a handbuilt wood-fired oven, which produces a selection of sourdough breads and creative Canadian Comfort food.
Woodlot features two seasonally evolving menus: the first with offerings from their artisanal Meat purveyors and a second dedicated to all their Vegetarian friends. They also have a large and ever evolving selection of intriguing natural wines, microbrewery beers, and seasonal cocktails to match the food and ambiance. Their focus is on making all their guests feel completely comfortable and at home in their space.

Each ticket is a unique one-time use code and cannot be shared.
This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.
