Our popular SPiN Toronto is back this time on Sunday for a Sunday Pong Day with Toronto Common!
$25 per person, tax and tip included for our usual table, punch bowls and snacks Sunday, October 25th, 8PM to 10PM!
A fun night out that’s more than just drinks! SPiN events are always a Toronto Common favourite and sell out fast!

 

SPiN Toronto is a Ping Pong Club located at 461 King Street West in the heart of downtown Toronto. By ping-pong club, we mean a place to hang out with friends, meet new people, and play ping pong while sipping a cocktail, eating a snack or tuning in to our roster of DJ’s. It’s a community for the more pong obsessed players and a hub for casual socializing and play.

You can currently find SPiN in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Dubai and Belgium. For a night out with your friends that is more than just drinks, SPiN has got you covered.

Wine Tasting at H Bar

Toronto Common will be hosting an exclusive wine tasting event with H Bar once a month from September to November! This is the perfect opportunity for wine lovers and food enthusiasts to learn more about the different wine and food pairings. Each month there will be a new food and wine menu. Join us for our second event with October’s menu!

Attendees will get to try 4 different wines from Malivoire along with amuse bouche pairings for only $25 (tax and tip included!) on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

The menu for this event is as follows:

  • 2013 Chardonnay Small Lot – Corn Puree, Seared Pork Belly with Pickled Fennel and Shallots
  • 2014 Malivoire Red Blend – Pulled Root Beer-Braised Short Rib on a Sweet Potato and Whole Wheat Blini
  • 2011 Pinot – Smoked Duck with Mushroom Bruschetta and Crosswind-Farm Chevre
  • 2014 Musqué Spritz – Lavender Crème Brule with Candied Lemon Peel

Taco Tuesday at La Mexicana

La Mexicana, host to our Mexican Brunch Tasting is hosting Taco Tuesdays in October with Toronto Common!

An authentic Mexican restaurant with 3 locations in Toronto, La Mexicana II at Yonge & Bloor will be showcasing all their tacos in a fun tasting event October 7th & 21st, from 6pm-8pm, $20 tax & tip included!

  • Chicken Taquito, crispy corn tortilla rolled and stuffed with chicken and smoothered with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo & cheese
  • Baja Fish Taco, battered fish topped with cabbage and chipotle mayo
  • Al Pastor Taco, strips of pork marinated in a mild chile served with fresh pineapple and lime
  • Lobster Taco, Atlantic lobster with guajillo salsa, bell peppers & onions

Plus rice, beans, and a 1oz Tommy’s Margarita with Tromba tequila, agave & lime.

* all salsas and sauces all made from scratch in-house using traditional ingredients and methods.


La Mexicana, owner Lucero has been cooking since she was just 11 years old. And the original La Mexicana has been in operation for 26 years.

With a passion for authentic Mexican food, she wanted to bring traditional Mexican dishes to Toronto and prepares all her signature dishes with quality, authentic Mexican ingredients using traditional methods.

Salsa Sundays at Cocina Lucero

Cocina Lucero is testing salsa’s and Toronto Common is invited Sunday October 5th & 19th, at 3pm.

With the busy event season just around the corner head chef, Alejandro Tejeda is testing a variety of new salsas and dippers as well as mixing in a few favourites for $12 tax & tip included!

  • House Red Salsa
  • Chipotle Adobo
  • Green Tomatillo
  • Habanero
  • Mole Poblano
  • Pico De Gallo
  • Spicy Avocado
  • Pipian (Roasted Pumpkin)
  • Pibil (Yucatan style Achiote sauce)

Plus 3 different types of chips/dippers:

  • Garlic Potato Chips
  • House Nacho Chips
  • Sushi-Cut Tamalitos (Sushi-Cut Corn Cake)
And a traditional Horchata drink, sweet rice milk with cinnamon to cool down the heat.

Cocina Lucero, La Mexicana’s sister restaurant offers a more refined Mexican experieince. Featured in Restuarant Makeover in 2008 with Chef Lynn Crawford, Cocina Lucero still has many of her recipes and techniques on the menu paired with restaurant owner Lucero’s authentic Mexican style.

VEGG Day (Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free) at Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria is bringing back their popular VEGG Day (vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free) event every Tuesday in August with Toronto Common!

Famoso already offers a great selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options with the option to substitute Daiya vegan cheese at no extra cost, and their gluten-smart crust option available for any pizza made with Caputo Gluten-Free flour imported from Naples for an extra $3 per pizza.

With the book a table option, we are able to offer the vegetarian menu for individual tickets at $20 per ticket, tax and tip included or a combination of dietary options for the book a table option at $80 per table of 4 people for vegetarian or vegan tables or $89 per table of 4 to change to their gluten-smart crust, also tax and tip included.
